OCF Accomplishments
(since 1994)

 • Facilitated the planting of 60,000 15 gallon shade trees at schools, parks, and streets.

 • Developed a volunteer corps of 300+ trained "Tree Amigos."

 • 10,000+ shade trees have been donated & planted at 200+ schools, 40+ City parks and numerous San José public facilities

 • Mobilized 150,000+ community volunteers to participate in over 3,000  Our City Forest planting, tree care & community education projects

 • Developed a Tree Patrol program to track young trees for 3 years.

 • Maintained a 90% tree survival rate of trees planted since 1994.

 • Leveraged over 5 million dollars in tree grants for San José neighborhoods.
