Green Neighborhoods- neighbors work together to reduce energy consumption, develop co-ops, plant & steward trees, reduce water usage, rid their households of dangerous toxins, purchase less packaging, etc. Eco-SV helps measure tangible results and issues certificates for neighborhoods completing the program.

Eco-Silicon Valley Awards – awards program to honor best green practices and accomplishments by active neighborhoods, schools, businesses and agencies.

Green Cities – through sharing best practices from around the world, this multi-agency effort promotes programs that will enable Silicon Valley cities to earn a ranking among the “Top 100 U.S. Green Cities”.

Green Forums – the Environmental Forum for San José Mayoral Candidates, held in May 2006, kicked off this initiative that promotes best practices in city environmental policy and encourages local leadership.
