This year’s GREEN FAIR will honor the magnificent urban forest in San José and celebrate Our City Forest’s hard work to protect and enhance it. Community members of all ages are invited to take part in free, family-friendly activities our three Green Fairs.
Pruning Workshops

Ever wondered how to prune a young tree? Our City Forest's experienced arborist staff will lead short demonstrations onproper techniques and answer your questions. Workshops held hourly at pre-scheduled times. Attendance unlimited.

Have questions about the species of your tree, how to care for it or what permits you need to plant? Bring them to Our City Forest's experienced arborist staff!

Kid's Area

For junior tree-lovers - and those young at heart - visit the KID'S AREA for tree-themed games, activities and goodies!

  • Tree Toss game: Like Ring Toss? Then you'll love our tree-themed version
  • Tree Mural: Help us paint a large tree using sponges and paint

    Meet the Tree Mobile --- Tree Tours

    Join us on the TREE MOBILE - OCF's 17-passenger shuttle bus - featuring a full-cover mural of tree planting in the community. Jump aboard and go on a tree tour of the neighborhood.
