Getting Permits
As part of our tree planting program, OCF provides the service of obtaining all of the necessary planting permits from the appropriate responsible agency(s). For most street tree plantings in the city of San Jose the DOT's Arborist Office is responsible. This same agency also requires permits for pruning and removing street trees, which OCF is not responsible for.
