How To Get Involved
Our City Forest volunteers plant trees at
City Hall in January 2008.

Our City Forest is a small non-profit dedicated to inspiring and supporting citizens in the planting, caring and appreciation of the urban forest throughout Santa Clara County. We'd love to have you join us in fulfilling this mission by volunteering your time for a wonderful cause.

A great way to start out is to check the Events Calendar. This is the easiest way to see a list of all the current events and volunteer needs. Any age or size of group are welcome! No experience necessary.

To volunteer, just contact the volunteer coordinators with the event or date and time you are available. You can also submit the Volunteer Sign-Up Form. Contact the volunteer coordinators at (408) 99-TREES x123 or by emailing us at volunteer@ourcityforest.org.

Office
Volunteer opportunities in our office include general office support like assembling outreach/education materials and basic computer tasks. We also need assistance translating outreach literature.

Othere Opportunities
Flyering, door-hanging or door knocking are some of the other opportunities available to assist OCF in reaching community members about our services.

Tree Amigo
Take our 18-hour Tree Amigo course and become certified to be a tree planting or tree care coach at neighborhood, park and school plantings. Tree Amigos can also opt to perform other volunteer activities in addition to or in place of tree planting.
