Are you passionate about the environment and motivating the public to "Grow Up Green"? Do you enjoy teaching youth and/or teens? Want training and practice in curriculum presentation?

If so, come join our team at Our City Forest as an environmental educator!

- Lead short presentations in local classrooms

- On-the-job training in urban forestry and conservation

- Educational presenting techniques

Flexible time requirements and short-term involvement are accepted. No experience required, but please come with a passion for community involvement and an interest in teaching! Bilingual individuals highly encouraged to reply.

Volunteer Training Course
A 2-hour workshop is required to become a certified Planet Tree instructor. This training will cover the basic of classroom management, public speaking and curriculum presentation. In addition it will cover all our available materials and offer you the opportunity to practice teaching in front of your peers for constructive feedback.
