Visit our nursery Thu, Fri, and Sat from 12:30 to 3:30 at 1000 Spring St. to browse our large selection of trees, shrubs and flowers.

Free Trees!
Thanks to a grant from the County of Santa Clara, residents of Alum Rock and Burbank are eligible for free trees and services! This includes a site inspection, high quality trees, permits, site prep, tools, planting, stakes, mulch and a follow-up inspection.

We have 15-gallon shade trees available for yards, park strips, neighborhoods, parks, schools, and private property throughout San Jose. We also provide information, guidance, and services for planting, caring, and maintaining your tree(s).

Become the 'heart and soul' of OCF by participating in a 20 hour course that will empower you to become and advocate and steward of your urban forest.
Learn more about the program
Increase your knowledge of the urban ecosystem, especially the urban forest! We provide classroom presentations and workshops covering topics relating to our urban forest.
Planet Tree Youth Education Programs 
Join neighbors to "green" your life. Attend workshops and documentaries to learn simple changes that can save money and the environment.
The OCF Community Nursery and Training Center is home to hundreds of homeless trees. The Nursery is a community service provided by Our City Forest to connect the resources of available trees to worthy planting projects ready to adopt trees.
